Gulfport Show - February

We don't have all the details yet but we will be a vendor at the Gulfport "Get Rescued" show in February. We did the show before and had a great time in Gulfport. We absolutely loved the vibe and the people we met. And we did well at the show.
I was particularly fond of the "Keep Gulfport Weird" signs and T-shirts that we saw scattered around - it was a sort of Key West vibe to the laid back area and it's worth the trip if you've never visited the area. We'll keep you updated with the specifics once we receive them!

Dogtoberfest

Last Saturday we were a vendor at the Dogtoberfest event in beautiful Dunedin, Florida. First, a special thanks to all the rescue groups that were also vendors. Too many to name, but all do good work. It's a tough thing to do and at times thankless, but they keep at it.

This event was a big thing for us because it was the first time the general public saw any of our original designs. As the artist, I was nervous because...well, it's my artwork. It's who I am and my identity. And the layout and designs are my wife's, so the feedback would be valuable. We were braced for the worst.

We were stunned at how much people really loved our "Families..." design and how many times we heard "Your stuff is so different....it's not the same old." We were relieved, yes, that we sold a boat load of our designs, but we were ecstatic that the messages resonated with so many people. As I mentioned, the most popular message was that families do indeed come in all shapes and sizes. The second most popular was our gentle reminded that life is short...play.

My favorite picture. The old guy above is 18 years old and blind. He had been rescued by a woman walking around with a pack of her rescues, which numbered around eleven. A good woman who is generating some good karma.

Here's one of my favorite family pictures - a pig, a human and the dog sound asleep down below. And of course, our humble booth to the left. Needs a lot of work, but the most important thing was our messages resonated!

Dogtoberfest

My favorite picture. The old guy above is 18 years old and blind. He had been rescued by a woman walking around with a pack of her rescues, which numbered around eleven. A good woman who is generating some good karma.
