Monique & Big Tuna

Monique has worked with cats, dogs, reptiles and together with exotics in a career that spans over thirty years, from the upper West Side of New York City, to sunny South Florida. Working her way up from a veterinarian technician, to a practice manager and ultimately as part owner of a four-doctor animal hospital, Monique has the experience and knowledge to give advice to pet owners. She is also a keen observer of the human owners and part of her job is training the humans in the human-pet equation.
She attended FIT in New York City and brings her keen design eye to her husbands ham-fisted attempts at font selection and composition. In addition, Monique and her husband are the authors of "A Snowbirds Guide to Living In Florida with Your Companion Animals," which draws upon their over-thirty years of experience with animals, and more specifically, over twenty five of them in Florida. The guide will be published by the Pierpont Media Group, fall of 2019.
