New "Life Is Short - Play" kitten design

We've thought long and hard about kittens and their playful nature when we were kicking around ideas to show their playfulness and how they seem to live life to the fullest. We had to crank out a few versions because we felt our first design didn't quite illustrate the maniacal intensity of a kitten.

We feel like we finally captured a typical kitten/cat move and if you currently have a cat, you'll recognize the move. The dictionary of Standard Cat Behaviors (Pierpont Media, 2014) calls this the "The clutch and rake" move. This frequently follows an overdose of catnip and the subsequent momentary psychotic state experienced by the aforementioned kitten. 

The move is deceptively simple - grab a toy or forearm with the front limbs, hold on tight while using the back leg claws to gently attempt to open blood vessels. The ears usually go flat and the squinting eyes hint at the malevolence that has you questioning if you know this cat any longer. This is the perfect gift for a cat lover , and it will bring smiles to their face! They'll immediately identify with the image and of course this will be quickly followed by them showing the scars on their arms to  you.
