We can learn a great deal from the animals in our lives and of course, if we pay attention, they'll humble us at least once a week with their quiet lessons on how to live a meaningful life. This design was inspired by the selfless devotion that my wife and I have seen with our four English bullies over the course of twenty years or so.
And you realize the tremendous amount of love and attention you give them is because of their sometimes quiet devotion and companionship. They're with you through thick and thin, good times and bad, and they are the one constant. Have a bad day at work? You can count on smiling when you open the door to your home and they are their to greet you. They give you love, you give them love. You get what you give. Which is why we have the Yin Yang symbol in our logo. Black and white, constantly pushing and pulling, getting and receiving.
At least that is our spin on it. Others may have a different take on life, but this is what we have learned over the course of ours. What you put out in the universe comes back to you. Treat people with disrespect, you'll harvest a ton of disrespect directed toward you. Treat people with kindness and respect, and I guarantee you'll be able to look back upon your life with a smile.
I'm hoping this image captures the spirit of this thought, although I'm not real fond of how the cat is sizing up the squirrel. Perhaps he's just a bit tentative, not quite sure how to take the squirrels gesture. Yeah, that's it.
